  • (May 7, 2012) - For participants who are going to the cultural trip to Laos, please be reminded that, for Thai participant, please bring your national ID to be used o issue the boarding pass to Laos. For non-Thai participant, please have your passport with you, we will collect them on the first day of the conference. Any problem with the trip, please contact the cultural-trip helpdesk at the conference. For those of you who have not signed up to join the trip and would likt to join, please contact the cultural-trip helpdesk as soon as you can.
  • (May 7, 2012) - For those of you who arrive Khon Kaen by plane, 3 vans from Kosa hotel will be waiting at the arrival gate to transport you to Kosa Hotel. Please refer to "KKU-IENC" or "the faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University". 2 additional vans from the Faculty will also be there.

The 4th KKU International Engineering Conference 2012

The KKU International Engineering Conference 2012 (KKU-IENC 2012) is the fourth in the series of conference previously known as Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development (TISD) which is held every other year. KKU-IENC 2012 is therefore the continuation of TISD 2010 Conference. The Conference is renamed to indicate affiliation with and to honor Khon Kaen University.

KKU-IENC will be held every other year by the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University. The conference aims to be an international forum for presentation of technological advances and research results, and to provide an opportunity for researchers from the academic, public and private sectors all over the world to exchange and disseminate new knowledge, research experiences and professional expertise, and create linkages among the participants for mutual benefits.

The official theme of KKU-IENC 2012 is "Driving Together Towards ASEAN Economic Community" which is the common goal for all ASEAN countries, as the regional economic integration is scheduled in 2015

All papers related to the conference theme is encouraged, however papers in other field of science and technology are also welcome.
