Call for papers (International)

    The Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development Conference, also referred to as the TISD conference, is hosted every two years by the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. Both national and international session are organized in TISD2008. The conference attracts numerous researchers and practitioners from the academic, public and private sectors. In addition to the official program, there are plenty of opportunities for informal discussions. TISD provides an excellent opportunity for active and dynamic science and engineering researchers to exchange and disseminate new knowledge, research experiences and professional expertise, and create linkages among the participants for mutual benefits.
   The 2nd Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development Conference will be held in Khon Kaen, Thailand from January 28th to January 29th, 2008
   The TISD committee’s mission is to enhance sustainable development of the nations in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) which largely relies on the advancement of various science, engineering, and technology disciplines. It is imperative that technology and innovation of these disciplines should be in close interrelationship with the concept of sustainable development and simultaneously retain good quality of life and friendly environment. The academic accomplishment, professional expertise, and efficient applications of advanced technologies and innovation greatly play important roles in economic and social development of Thailand and other GMS countries

Topics of Interests:

   The conference invites submissions from all areas in science, engineering, and technology fields including (but not limited to) Agriculture, Water Resources, Energy, Medicine, Electronics, Telecommunications, Environment, Nanotechnology, Computers, IT, Machines, Logistics, Transportation, Materials, Construction, and Structure.
  
Paper Submission:

    All manuscripts must be prepared in MS-Word templates provided by the conference that can be downloaded from the conference website. Each submitted paper must include a title, a 70 -  150 word abstract, the names and addresses of all authors (including email addresses), and the full text. The length of submitted papers must be no more than 6 pages. All papers must be submitted electronically via the conference website. (http://www.en.kku.ac.th/tisd2008).  Each paper will be exposed to a peer review.  It is absolutely essential that you follow the instructions.  Papers submitted via other means will not be considered.

Important Dates:

                Full paper submission date is postponed to                  October 31,2007
                Notification of paper acceptance                                       November 30, 2007
                Camera-ready papers                                                         December 28, 2007

Registration Fees:

• A paper submitted in the international session is required to register for the international registration rate
• One registration is required to fund for each paper submitted.

ประกาศเชิญชวนส่งบทความ (National)

    การประชุมวิชาการเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมสำหรับการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน Technology and Innovation for  Sustainable Development Conference หรือ TISD เป็นการประชุมวิชาการระดับชาติและระดับนานาชาติที่จัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุก 2 ปี เพื่อเป็นเวทีสำหรับนักวิชาการ นักวิจัยจากหน่วยงาน สถาบันการศึกษา ภาครัฐ และภาคเอกชนทั้งในประเทศ และจากต่างประเทศ ได้มีโอกาสพบปะแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ ประสบการณ์งานวิจัย และความเชี่ยวชาญในวิชาชีพ และสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมจากนานาประเทศโดยการประชุมวิชาการ TISD2008 เป็นการจัดประชุมครั้งที่ 2 ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นที่จังหวัดขอนแก่น ในระหว่างวันที่ 28-29 มกราคม 2551
    การบูรณาการเทคโนโลยี นวัตกรรมทางวิศวกรรม และวิทยาศาสตร์ในหลากหลายสาขา ล้วนมีความสำคัญยิ่งต่อการพัฒนาประเทศไทย และประเทศในแถบอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง การประชุม TISD2008 จึงมุ่งเน้นสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือการวิจัยในประเทศแถบอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขงโดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อสานต่อความร่วมมือในการสร้างสรรค์เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรมที่เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อมซึ่งจะเป็นจุดเริ่มอันสำคัญในการพัฒนาประเทศไทยและประเทศในแถบอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขงที่ยั่งยืนอย่างแท้จริง

หัวข้อในการประชุม

    หัวข้อการประชุมครอบคลุมหัวข้อต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องกับทุกสาขาวิชา ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ วิศวกรรม และเทคโนโลยี เช่น ทางการเกษตร ทรัพยากรน้ำ พลังงาน  การแพทย์  ไฟฟ้า  การสื่อสารและโทรคมนาคม  สิ่งแวดล้อม  นาโนเทคโนโลยีคอมพิวเตอร์ เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ เครื่องจักรกล โลจิสติก การขนส่ง วัสดุการก่อสร้าง และโครงสร้าง เป็นต้น

รูปแบบบทความ

    รูปแบบของบทความสามารถดาวน์โหลดจากเว็บไซต์ของการประชุม (เตรียมเป็นแฟ้มข้อมูล MS Word ความยาวไม่เกิน 6 หน้า ประกอบด้วย ชื่อเรื่อง บทคัดย่อ ความยาวประมาณ 70-150 คำ ชื่อ ที่อยู่ของผู้แต่ง และเนื้อหาของบทความ โดยบทความภาษาไทยใช้แบบอักษร Angsana New ขนาด 16 pts.) การส่งบทความสามารถส่งผ่านเว็บไซต์ http://www.en.kku.ac.th/tisd2008 เท่านั้น จึงจะได้รับการพิจารณาให้เข้าร่วมประชุมวิชาการ
